This series captures the reopening of The Davenport Coffee Lounge, a student-staffed coffee shop on the American University campus. I used Adobe Photoshop to enhance the images through cropping, level adjustments, vibrance, color balance, sharpness etc. I followed ethical photo-journalism practices, enhancing the photos without altering their content.
